Advertising through the Internet platforms, or what we call online marketing, is a phenomenon that made its way few years back, and on this date, and firmly perched itself at the core of every brand’s marketing strategy. It is hardly a surprise since the results we’ve got by the means of online marketing are stupendous and encouraging.

When we talk of marketing through online platforms, there are ways and a truckload of options to accomplish desirable results. While not all may work for all businesses, there is a bunch of online marketing ways that produce unfailingly great returns. These ways and approaches are not likely to go off-color, not anytime sooner:

The age old practice of advertising of products through newspapers articles has only been spun to some extent, by taking those ads to websites. The banner ads is not what I am talking about here, but the content rich snippets and articles. Be it a brand’s official website, or its articles on different article websites that point to its website, every company’s marketing manager has his or her own way of using content to promote the brand.

Content marketing has arguably produced results by attracting leads, and turning them to customers, and that why it sustains its position.

The Power Social Media only Gets Bigger

When you are looking for results in quick time, the place where the minimum amount of time and monies you will have to spend is social media. For bigger and better results though, it gives you the scope of spending big. With so many options like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Stumble Upon, etc. where is the time to run out of options? Social media keeps tossing ways, one after other and if there is anything it makes harder for us, it is catching up with all of that.

And then there is that! You would see movie producers, particularly of sci-fi stuff, launching mobile apps and games of the same name as movie just before the release. With the right amount of hype, the apps are downloaded eagerly by the mobile user community, which further raises the hype around the movie and helps it achieve a huge opening on Fridays.
But the film industry is not the only place which holds these apps in great regard. Businesses of all nature have been happily lapping up this technology to create a buzz around their products and launches.

Writing Posts on Third Party Websites

They have a word for it – guest posting. And this also fits the category of phenomenon, since just about every business is displaying eagerness of the highest order to publish guest posts on websites with good Google page ranks. The exercise comes with an array of benefits like bringing good page rank for their own websites and driving more traffic to the websites. Whilst there are experts who are doubting the effectiveness of this approach, and going ear to ear on how guest posting is dead, now is not the right time to believe them.

Investing time and money in marketing has become much more rewarding with online advertising. What I recommend is that you keep a sustained focus even if results don’t start pouring in right away.
